Love this new technology! Press play, wait for the intro to load, then as you're driving around New York City on top of a yellow cab, use your mouse to look at everything - yes, left, right, up, down, diagonally. What a fun way to experience Manhattan with fully immersive, 3D interactive video...
Here's a fun amateur travel video covering New York, set to a hip hop vibe. It covers all the usual suspects of NYC, focusing on Manhattan: the Empire State Building, Times Square, yellow cabs and more. There's a bit of emphasis on the more daily activities such as local street performers, local emergency response and rescue teams and nightly activities. It ends with some pretty dull internal shots of a hotel, but the first 5 minutes or so is worth it.
Okay, the pretty Russian model doesn't have much to add to this video tour of New York City, other than pure aesthetics! But it does make for a unique tour of New York, including an extended helicopter sequence. The video finishes with some impromptu modeling in Times Square.

From the BBC is this interesting report on the growing volume of foreign buyers of New York real estate, especially in Manhattan. With the steady decline of the US dollar and spiraling property values, international investors are finding great building deals in New York City. Even some "trophy" properties are being bought by overseas purchasers, as well as popular icons like the Chrysler Building. The United States is definitely being sold away bit by bit. Although this video is actually a promo for an English Language School, it could just as easily be a promotion for New York City tourism! The photos here are really beautiful, clearly professionally shot and processed. The music is also soothing and appropriate, and blends really well with the images of Manhattan, Central Park in the summer, Times Square at night, the Statue of Liberty and more.
